What is the active tanning ingredient in VIP Premium Blends?
The active tanning ingredient in VIP Premium Blends is a natural sugar derivative
called DHA (dihydroxyacetone). DHA works with the proteins in the top layer of the skin (the epidermis) to produce melanoidins,
very similar in color to melanin, which is the natural skin pigment based color produced by UV created suntan.
Why are VIP Premium Blends Sunless Solution called the All Natural Looking Tan?
Although all sunless tanning solutions contain DHA as the active sunless tanning ingredient, we use the highest quality of DHA, and have
the premier form of Erythrulose available. These top of the line active tanning agents coupled with superior formulating and specialized
blending techniques, allow VIP Premium Blends to give you a truly All Natural Looking, Streak-Free Tan!
Should my clients exfoliate first?
Yes, always exfoliate first, since any dry loose surface skin, dirt, or moisturizing products will negatively alter the results of any sunless tanning application. VIP
Premium Blends is an all natural product, that should be applied while the skin is clean and evenly exfoliated.
How long will it take for my tan to develop?
VIP Premium Blends has a very quick developing time. You will start to notice results within the first one to two hours of your application. With all of our formulas you may shower or "rinse off" the color guide in about 4hrs but if you want the darkest brownest sunless tan possible do not shower for 12 to 14 hours. This will allow our proprietary blend of cosmetic bronzers to actually absorb into your skin surface providing a very deep rich brown naturallooking tan with little to NO rub off after showering.

Is there any unpleasant self tanning odor?
No, VIP Premium Blends is refreshingly scented with pure natural lemon grass, cucumber melon which eliminates excessive DHA smell on most clients.
Can I be in the Sun after getting sprayed with VIP Premium Blends?
Yes, allow solution to dry and then apply a sunscreen of SPF15 or higher to protect your skin from the UV rays. With any sun exposure reapply sunscreen at regular intervals ( minimum every 2 hours) and re apply directly after swimming or heavy sweating. If you sweat within 6-8 hours of sunless solution application, you may have uneven tan development.
Pre-Tan Preparation
• Shower and thoroughly exfoliate your skin approximately 1-12 hours prior to your tanning service. This is very important, as it will remove the dead loose
surface skin cells, which will allow you to have the longest-lasting tan possible. Please, do not injure the skin with rough exfoliation.
• Skin should be clean, dry and product residue free before being airbrushed. For optimal results, do not use moisturizing exfoliates, moisturizing cleansers
moisturizing lotions, deodorants, antiperspirants, body oils, shaving creams or makeup before your tanning appointment. These products can negatively affect
the result of your tan. We will treat any dry areas prior to your airbrushing service.
• Shave and/or remove body hair at least 8-24 hours prior to your airbrush tanning session. If you prefer to shave after your airbrush tan application, you will
speed up the tan fade process, as some tanned skin cells are removed with every shave. Electric razors remove less dead skin. Chemical, wax and sugar
based hair removal, will remove your sunless tan.
• Schedule your manicure, pedicure and hair removal services 24 hours prior to your tanning appointment. 24 hours prior to your appointment.
• Style hair off of the face and neck on tanning days. Use clips, rubber bands, scrunches', etc.
• Remove all jewelry before being airbrushed.
• Wear dark loose inexpensive clothing and loose shoes w/socks or flip-flops to your tanning appointment.
• If you choose to wear a swim suit, bring a dark, snug inexpensive swimsuit or under garment to create "tan lines" [some fabrics may stain or discolor such as
wool, lycra, nylon, spandex, silk]
• We ask that you trust the advice of your Sunless Consultant. Our knowledge and experience enables us to choose an airbrush recipe that will best
compliment your unique skin tone and will leave you with a natural looking tan. We carry different variations of tanning solutions, but keep in mind it may take
a few sessions to find the best product for your specific needs, and achieve the desired result
Post Tan Preparation
• Wear dark, loose fitting, inexpensive cotton clothing for 8 hours, while your tan is developing..
• To give you the best tan possible, delay showering for at least 8 hours after your sunless tanning session, unless your technician advises differently. During
this "processing time" you should refrain from any physical activities that may cause your skin to become wet. This includes active housework, exercise,
swimming, bathing, showering, sauna sessions, massages, heat exposure and other activities that require the use of liquids or cause your body to sweat. You
are free to resume these activities after your tan has fully developed and you've had your first shower. Please plan accordingly.
• Do not wear tight clothing, shoes, undergarments, bra straps or jog bras until your tan has fully developed and you have showered.
• Your first shower should be a light shower with warm water only, as you are simply just rinsing the excess airbrush solution off of the surface of your skin. Do
not exfoliate during this shower. Exfoliation will lighten or remove your sunless tan..
• Gently pat dry with a towel, do not roughly rub dry.
